We had a few days of continuous hoar frost in Edmonton in January that had just about everybody spellbound by the beauty. The first few days were socked in with fog then the sun came out. I wrote on my tablet but got nothing but frustration and many failed attempts so came home to work on my computer and publish this post.
Gosh… Beautiful…

It is rare to have so many days in a row with hoar frost and don’ always get the opportunity to grab images at the right time, so this was special.

Oh these are simply delightful! Hoar frost is so magical. We’ve had a lot of it here, too, this year. A great spirit boost during a long winter.

I agree, even on the super dull days with the fog it still looked wonderful and everyone was outside taking photos.

Beautiful snow scenes, Jane! I love the bench scene, I can imagine sitting there myself, looking out at all the beauty! 🙂

That bench is in the off-leash dog park overlooking the valley and the stables, a wonderful place to take a pause, which I often do.
